The founders
Knut Vassbotn and Hans Petter Øvrevik founded the company back in 2020. Deep Wind Offshore is a new company, but the offshore wind business is by no means new to our team.
With more than 20 years experience from the industry, the founders have facilitated the first floating wind projects in the US; been involved in other floating wind projects in South Korea, Scotland and other European countries; and has a strong international network.
The founders are passionate about industrialising offshore wind and making offshore wind a commercial success in Norway and Internationally. To achieve this they continually push Deep Wind Offshore to develop projects with scale and open up new markets.
