The owners
Deep Wind Offshore is a company owned by Knutsen OAS, Haugaland Kraft, Sunnhordland Kraftlag and Octopus Energy Generation. All of the companies have a long history from developing industrial projects.
Knutsen OAS is a fully integrated shipping company with operation, newbuilding supervision, chartering and project development in-house. The company has e fleet of vessel ideally suited to deliver the growing demand of the international offshore wind sector. Knutsen OAS has offices all across the world, and has a strong presence in South-Korea.
Haugaland Kraft is a leading Norwegian utility- and technology company, based on the west coast of Norway. Haugaland Kraft is an owner and operator of the grid in the region where the offshore wind project Utsira North is located.
SKL is one of Norways largest renewable energy producers. The company is based in the western part of Norway, and has a portfolio of several TWh produced from major hydropower-projects. SKL also owns a hydrogen company, with an aim to develop hydrogen from renewable hydropower.
Octopus Energy Generation is one of Europe's largest renewable energy investors, managing £6bn of green energy projects across the globe. The generation arm of Octopus Energy Group, the global energy tech pioneer.
